Simple 3-Step Application:

1. Dilute: Mix 1 part 3001 with precisely 100 parts water.

2. Mix: Use this solution as your gauging water for your dry mix (screed, render, or concrete).

Dilution Reference Table: 3001 Concentrate

The following table provides standardized formulations for diluting 3001 with varying volumes of water:

Depending on the water cement ration, 20 litre 3001 can be used for the hydrophobic and efflorescence treatment of up to 10 to 13 cubic meter of concrete for dry pressed pavers / tile screed  and concrete brick manufacturing . (For 1 cubic meter of concrete,  typically use is around 150 to 200 litre water one 1 % of that must be 3001).  The chemical reaction with the concrete allow it to provide permanent protection for cement based materials significantly reducing the ingress and transport of liquid water in the capillary pores, and any dissolved salts that this water may carry or that is coming from salt contaminated sand and aggregates within the mix. 3001 provides a deep-embedded permanent protection of the complete mass of the material produced.  

This not only prevents efflorescence but also helps to reduce water coming from the ground up towards the surface. Like external tiled areas and pool surroundings etc. There is no more salt and chlorine getting sucked into the capillary system. It also works against water sitting on top. The product can hold a hydro static pressure between 60mm and up to 100mm.

As a VOC-free, water-based solution, it offers a sustainable approach to enhancing the structural integrity and aesthetic longevity of cement-bound building materials It delivers superior resistance to moisture and efflorescence, ensuring long-term durability for all cement-based building materials and any product made out of it.

Unlike with a surface coating or a sealer that is exposed to the elements and can wear off over time, 3001 is mixed directly into the screed, render, or concrete. It becomes a permanent part of the substrate's mass material.

Once mixed, the agent reacts chemically with the calcium silicate hydrate in the cement. This process lines the internal pores with a water-repellent layer.

Crucially, 3001 does not block the pores. This allows the material to remain vapour-permeable (it can "breathe"), but it fundamentally changes the surface energy of the capillaries.

Instead of water being sucked in, it is actively pushed out. 

It  emits zero VOCs once fully reacted with the substrate. This makes it compliant with the latest LEED requirements and suitable for indoor use.  In fact, it is one of the most environmentally friendly admixtures available.
