N-Bond Primer technology showcased first time at the Glassbuild Las Vegas 2014
What is a inkjet glass printing Primer?
Nanovations N-Bond UV Inkjet Primer is much more.
Nanovations will showcase its latest nanotech surface modifications for the glass industry in the Innovative Product Pavilion at GlassBuild America 2014 expo in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 9th – 11th.
Nanovations N-Bond-UV-Primer is the latest technologies that enable UV curable inkjet inks to obtain superior adhesion on difficult-to adhere surfaces, such as glass and ceramics, Acrylic and certain metals.
So , what is a Inkjet primer?
The N-Bond Primer ensures that the print ink or paint layer adheres effectively to the non-porous surfaces of these materials by promoting molecular adhesion.
As a primer, it is applied to the substrate before the print process. In this case, N-Bond-UV-Primer is in the optimum position (in the interphase region between substrate and ink resin), where it can be most
effective as an adhesion promoter. With N-Bond-UV-Primer, a poorly adhering ink, can be converted to a material that often will maintain adhesion even if subjected to severe environmental conditions.
To do so N-Bond is bonding to selected substrate molecules and the final result is less than 100 Nm thick and completely invisible .
Such a thin layer , enables N-Bond to use the lowest product consumption and therefore has the highest coverage rate of any product on the market.
Up to 400 m2 or 4,400 sq. ft. of glass can be primed with one single litre of product.
This makes N-Bond Primer the most cost effective solution available world wide.
