First Nanotechnology Paint fights hospital Super bugs

Bioni Hygienic is a non-toxic coating based on Nanotechnology that will permanently protect outside and interior walls from attack by moulds and algae and will even destroy bacteria and germs that are resistant to antibiotics. Such as staphylococcus aureus for example. A new combination of active ingredients, jointly developed with the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology based on nanotechnology, ensures that Bioni Hygienic presents an antimicrobial surface which permanently eliminates even antibiotic resistant hospital germs almost completely. Bioni Hygienic does not release any emissions and does not contain any biocides. The efficiency of Bioni Hygienic has been certified by world known institutes. More Details |

First heat regulating facade paint in the world !
Nanovations introduces Bioni Perform, the worlds first Nanotechnology based antimicrobial facade paint with outstanding UV stability and water resistance. In combination with the high salt resistance and the ability to lower the heat penetration into a building this is really a facade paint Australia was waiting for. Millions of microscopically small hollow glass spheres confer the coating with characteristics which regulate heat and moisture and ensure a noticeable improvement during temperature peaks. Humidity and temperature are held at a more constant level. This not only increases the feeling of comfort within buildings, but also lowers air-conditioning costs and heating costs. Bioni Perform reflects up to 93 % of the incoming sunrays which reduces the heat absorption into the wall and lessens temperature related expansions of wall panels. This will stop facade panels and render from cracking and will make expansion joints last longer. The way Bioni Perform regulates the heat makes it possible to tint the facade coating to meet Architectural design requests. More Details |

A new way to reduce energy costs This case study from the Green Building Council Australia shows clearly that there are not only environmental benefits but also cost savings by implementing sustainable technologies into building designs... Read the complete Dollar and Sense case study. Case study |
Even with all the Oil, Dubai is a world leader in sustainable buildings. DUBAI, In a country where oil and natural gas resources are abundant and appear limitless, it would seem that environmental consciousness would take a backseat. But in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the 'green' bug has wormed its way into most sectors, and the latest to join the bandwagon is the construction sector. . Case study |
Statistically we spend 80 % of our live indoors. Poor indoor air quality is one of the four greatest risks to human health. It is only within the past 30 years that problems with indoor air quality and pollutants have surfaced. In response to the energy crisis of the 1970s, buildings were designed to minimize heat loss with sealed windows and insulated walls. In addition to minimizing heat loss, the energy conserving features significantly reduce the amount of fresh air that was allowed to enter these buildings. Bioni offers solutions to improve indoor air quality and can eliminate a number of health risks. |
