At the current stage these ultra thin treatments are more care products to ease the maintenance and the cleaning. They are not created as a permanent corrosion protection. The average lifetime of such treatments is between 1 and 2 years. The products will show increasing effect and lifespan with periodical application.

During this time, the treated surface is guarded against permanent staining and contamination from dirt, street dirt, dust and atmospheric pollution. The cleaning time for a stainless steel handrail for example can be reduced by 80-90 %.  It also protects from particular stainless steel from Pitting corrosion - related to chlorides.  Also against metal oxide staining indicated by either a rough surface or a red, brown, or black stain.

At the current stage the products can be used for: 

• Stainless steel,

• kitchen appliances,

• handrails,

• automotive parts,

• blank aluminum,

• cooper,

• marine applications,

• building maintenance etc. 

Permanent coatings with corrosion protective properties are available but  can't be offered as an aftermarket product at the moment. Certain application processes require special devices and machinery which only can be offered at a manufacturing level.
